1. HAKIM ZIYECH (8.1)
Ziyech was our Man of the Match in two of his first four starts for the club, but his season since has been inconsistent and rather stop-start in nature, thanks in part to a couple injuries. He remains somewhat on the periphery — this was his first start in four games — but he’s been growing in confidence, importance, and influence, and not just with his passing. It’s been a disappointing first season for the Wizard of AMS, but we just might see some magic yet in the final few weeks.
2. JORGINHO (7.9)
It was almost poetic that Jorginho came so close to topping this chart considering his transfer saga a few years ago and how we gazumped Manchester City for his signature. Jorginho’s time at the Bridge since hasn’t been universally great, but he’s hitting a rich vein of form at just the right time.
3. THIAGO SILVA (7.9)
Contrary to the other two, Silva’s time at the Bridge so far has been almost unequivocally great. Age seems to be catching up with him a bit now in terms of fitness and injuries — and let’s hope his back is okay after being forced off a few minutes from time — but in terms of overall impact, few come close this season.
