1. CHRISTIAN PULISIC (8.3)
Back-to-back Man of the Matches for Pulisic, after getting just one the whole season previously. Like London buses.
What’s actually even more impressive about this particular one is that he did it without any goals or assists. Instead, it’s a recognition of his bravery, his attitude, and his durability, as he was hacked down repeatedly by the opposition, at a rate not seen in nearly a decade in Europe.
He could do this all day, indeed.
Christian Pulisic was fouled 11 times by Porto today.— Paul Carr (@PaulCarr) April 13, 2021
That's the most fouls suffered by any player in a UCL game since Lionel Messi vs Real Madrid in 2011.
2. N’GOLO KANTÉ (7.7)
Pressed into service thanks to the last-minute injury suffered by Mateo Kovačić, head coach Thomas Tuchel admitted after that Kanté probably wasn’t quite ready to start and play the full 90 — but of course Kanté’s gonna Kanté and he did so just fine and, at least so far, seemingly without any negative repercussions.
3. JORGINHO (7.7)
Not sure who this Jorginho is, but he seems pretty good: this is his second highest rating of the season.
