1. MASON MOUNT (9.0)
An expertly taken goal and key involvement in just about everything Chelsea did all night, young Mason Mount is taking things to the next level right before our eyes — and doing so out form underneath the big shadow cast by Frank Lampard, which, while absolutely crucial in his development at the right place and at the right time, was in some ways a hindrance as well, certainly in terms of the public perception (a la Sarri and Jorginho, though not nearly as extreme).
This is now Mount’s sixth Man of the Match, most on the team, and fifth in his last eleven starts. He’s also moved up level with Thiago Silva for highest average rating on the season so far.

One particularly noteworthy stat amid all the noteworthy stats after the game was that Mount has now reached 20 “goal contributions” in the Premier League for Chelsea (goals + assists), and he’s the second youngest in club history (i.e. since 1992) to do so after Arjen Robben. Not bad!

2. ANDREAS CHRISTENSEN (8.8)
Speaking of blossoming right in front of our eyes, Christensen’s playing his best football ever for Chelsea, following up his first ever Man of the Match for us with an equally, if not even more impressive performance.
Since he’s still just 24, he’s got plenty of time not only to keep performing at this level, but keep getting better and better — and not just as the anchor of a three-man backline.
3. N’GOLO KANTÉ (8.1)
N’Golo Kanté is a gift, said Thomas Tuchel after the match. I don’t think anything more needs to be said.
