Chelsea loanee Jamie Cumming, whose spending the season at Stevenage in League Two on his first loan stint, has already made quite an impression in senior football with his cat-like reflexes and his aerial dominance.
The 21-year-old’s latest heroics came when his side visited Southend United this weekend, as he pulled off a brilliant save on free kick, highlighting both of his aforementioned qualities and preserving the clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.
Save of the Weekend contender here.

Jamie Cumming has kept SIX clean sheets in his last SIX games for Stevenage.
Very impressive. 6⃣⛔️ #GKUnion pic.twitter.com/Z3ZAD7ay2p
Cumming has been of the best goalkeepers statistically in League Two as well, with the second best save percentage (77.1%) and the third most clean sheets (14) in 31 appearances. Considering that Stevenage are only mid-table, currently sitting just 15th, those are certainly impressive numbers.

Stevenage are thirteen points clear of the relegation zone, and they certainly have the young goalkeeper’s contributions to thank for that in big part.
As for the player himself, if his progression follows other young Chelsea Academy goalkeepers, especially Nathan Baxter, a more challenging loan in a higher division surely beckons for next season.
SIX straight clean sheets for @JamieCumming_ now, no goals conceded in 629 (non-stoppage time) minutes (conceded in the first minute of the 7th game in that run. #CFC #LoanArmy https://t.co/jCCxt9Ex0L
