An atrocious foul by Tottenham’s Eric Dier in the box on Chelsea’s Timo Werner gives the visitors a chance from the penalty spot. But instead of the German striker, it is Jorginho who takes the shot — this time with no “hops”, “skips” or any other technique to try to beat the goalkeeper before the shot is made. And the straight-forward option of penalty-taking is rewarded by its conversion into our first goal today.
