I’m not a big fan of pranking videos (or, say, hidden camera nonsense), but this one’s pretty amusing with Timo Werner, Mason Mount, and Jorginho doing a commercial bit for Chelsea sponsor Yokohama Tyres.
The setup is pretty simple. Mount (and Jorgi) are in the ear of the “director” who puts Timo through an increasingly silly array of tasks, culminating in him making engine noises and pedaling a go-kart while dressed in a full racing uniform — though perhaps the star of the show is Werner’s Baron Zemo-style dancing. I’m also quite jealous of the inanimate stack of tyres that got a lovely hug from Timo.
But it’s all good vibes, and Timo’s a good sport about it, which is always great to see.

Bonus video from the official YouTube, doing the contractually required “react to FIFA ratings”, which remains this weird meta-exercise we go through every year, convincing ourselves that it’s a good thing — guess I’m just getting too old for this — while EA laugh all the way to the bank with their incremental update. Anywayyyyyyy (go play Football Manager instead, if you must).
Let’s see those dance moves again, Timo!
