The highly-rated 17-year-old hasn’t made any senior-team appearances as yet, but has made the bench 7 times for the Brewers senior-team during the course of the 2019-20 season. While the exact transfer fee is unknown, it’s rumored to be in the seven figures.
In any case, welcome, Teddy!

In more youth-related news, but unfortunately, on the departure side of things, Samuel Iling Jr rejected Chelsea’s professional contract offer and completed a move to Juventus last week. This deal has been in the works for quite some time now, and has since then been confirmed officially by the Bianconeri.

Even with Chelsea’s youth-centric approach, it’s impossible to keep hold of every single talented youngster who comes through the academy, and it’s normal that some of them feel that there are better opportunities to develop elsewhere.
Samuel Iling Jr has been touted to be a future star, and while he won’t be showcasing his skills for the Blues in the immediate future, nothing can be ruled out in the long-term.
In the meantime, farewell and good luck, Samuel!
