Chelsea youngster, Luke McCormick, has joined Bristol Rovers on a season-long loan, the League One club as well as Chelsea have confirmed.

The 21-year-old, who spent the first half of last season on loan at League One side, Shrewsbury, has made 5 appearances in the English third-division till date.
McCormick, who has been with Chelsea since the age of six, was part of the U-18s side that won the treble in 2017, while also captaining the U-19 side in our 5-0 memorable win over Qarabag in the UEFA youth league. Luke has scored 23 times and provided 10 assists in 75 appearances at the youth level.
Mostly deployed as a central midfielder, McCormick is also adept as an attacking as well as a holding midfielder. At Bristol Rovers, Luke will team up with ex-Chelsea academy boy, Josh Grant, who signed for the Pirates this summer after his release from Chelsea.
