90+2min: FULL TIME.

90min: 2 minutes added on.

84min: Goal. Bayern. Lewandowski gets one from open play as well, heading in Odriozola’s cross with ease by jumping over Emerson at the far post. 4-1.

83min: Lewandowski wins a corner, which is played short, then dropped to Süle who corks one at goal that Caballero can’t handle. Chelsea scramble the loose ball away.

81min: Giroud on for Abraham; finally a change for Chelsea.

80min: Kanté’s turn to try a shot. Not so handsome. Bayern make their fifth change; Javi Martínez on for Gnabry. Chelsea still haven’t made any changes.

79min: Another long-range effort from Reece, but Neuer saves. One of these days, he will score a great goal.

76min: Goal. Bayern. No one’s marking Tolisso’s run, and he finishes a cross with hilariously ease from five yards out. 3-1 on the night, 6-1 on aggregate.

74min: CHO sits his man down and plays to Kovačić. His long shot is blocked for a corner, which Mount takes. The outswinger is headed clear.

73min: James tries a long shot at the other end. Also over.

72min: Caballero with a poor clearance, straight to a Bayern player. They pass to Coutinho, who goes for a stereotypical long shot. It’s dipping, but not quick enough and only hits the top of the net.

71min: Bayern make two more changes, with Odriozola and Tolisso on. Chelsea still haven’t made any.

70min: Barkley goes on a run through the middle and earns a foul just outside the D. James, Mount, and Barkley conference over the ball. Barkley takes. Blocked by a head in the wall.

67min: Chelsea have trouble dealing with a Bayern corner. Lewandowski finds the loose ball for a snapshot on the turn, which Zouma blocks for another corner. Kimmich takes again, it’s a flat delivery that finds Thiago. His header is blocked, but the ball runs to Alaba at the top of the area. His shot fortunately is straight at Caballero, who holds on.

65min: Davies marauding forward again. Zouma in the right place to clear his cross again.

64min: Chelsea defend well on Lewandowski, winning a goal kick. Boateng departs at last, replaced by Süle. Coutinho on for Perišić as well.

61min: Müller misses an easy chance after Zouma misses a clearing header on a cross from the left.

60min: A through ball towards Gnabry almost comes off, but Caballero’s quick off his line to collect.

58min: Boateng in a footrace with CHO, heads back to his goalkeeper, but breaks himself in the process. Looks like a pulled calf muscle. His night, probably his season, looks to be over.

56min: Chelsea build on the flanks and switch to CHO on the left. He tries to cushion a pass into Mount’s path, but gets it wrong and Bayern have a goal kick. Chelsea much better since the restart.

53min: Thiago bowls a man off the ball in midfield. No foul, says the referee. Zouma blocks Thiago’s eventual shot quite magnificently for a throw.

52min: Solid defending from Reece prevents the Bayern danger on the right, and Chelsea then win possession back.

51min: Hudson-Odoi tries to take on a couple, but has the ball pinched off his toes. Bayern slow the game down to stop Chelsea’s impetus.

49min: Mount breaks Bayern’s high line offside trap, but his left-footed effort from a decent angle is easily blocked by Neuer. Chelsea win the ball back again and this time it’s Tammy who takes on Boateng, but can’t beat him for pace. Tammy checks back and tries to find an arriving Barkley at the top of the box, but Thiago tracks him well and slides in to clear.

47min: Chelsea turn the ball over and Gnabry has time and space to put in a cross, but his effort is rather poor and Caballero can collect easily.

SECOND HALF: Bayern restart the game. No changes from either side.

HALF-TIME: Chelsea have scored a goal and had another one disallowed by VAR. But we’ve also given up two at the other end, and so it’s 5-1 on aggregate with 45 minutes left to play in the 2019-20 season.

45+1min: Chelsea have a corner, but Emerson overhits it and that’s the end of the half.

44min: GOALLLL!!!! TAMMY! A cross from Emerson is mishandled by Neuer and Abraham’s there to tap it in. Easy finish, classic poacher’s goal. 2-1!

43min: Emerson slides in needlessly on Goretzka during a high press and gets a needless yellow for his needless needlessness.

41min: At the other end, a rare foray forward from Chelsea sees James put in a cross. Bayern clear.

40min: Perišić toying with Chelsea’s right flank, puts in a cross that Müller looks odds to turn into the back of the net. But he doesn’t, thanks to decent pressure from Christensen.

37min: Bayern looking for a third. Barkley tracking back well to win a foul and get Chelsea possession for a few seconds.

33min: A Lewandowski shot from 20 yards is blocked by Zouma. On the plus side, we’re a third of the way through this game.

28min: GOALLL!!! HUDSON-ODOI! CHO on the ball, plays a 1-2 with Tammy, then beats a couple and picks out the far corner. Lovely finish. But wait, VAR says Tammy was offside in the build-up. No idea; we never got a replay. No goal.

26min: Emerson makes a run up the left channel and goes for goal. Neuer makes the save, parrying for a corner. Chelsea take the corner short, but Emerson’s cross is blocked. Chelsea eventually get the ball into the box, but Bayern clear and control without too much trouble.

24min: Goal. Bayern. Bayern press and win the ball off Kovačić. It’s 4-v-2 and Lewandowski plays to a wide open Perišić, who finishes with ease. 2-0, Bayern.

23min: Davies can’t get past Christensen, then makes a bad pass that Kanté intercepts. We can count that as 3 goals for Chelsea.

22min: Hudson-Odoi offside. Not great.

20min: Christensen heads clear a cross as Bayern continue to dominate with ridiculous ease.

18min: Gnabry’s cross flashes across the area. Lewandowski waves at it, but misses and Chelsea have a goal kick. Bayern may be up 4-0, but are still asking all the questions.

17min: Goretzk-HULK goes for an audacious volley from a Perišić cross, one you can only do when leading 4-0 on aggregate. He gets it quite badly wrong though, which is amusing.

14min: Davies powers through Chelsea and finds Müller at the top of the box. He takes a touch, takes aim, but puts his effort over with pressure from Kanté arriving.

11min: Good cover from Reece on Davies after Bayern play through the midfield with consummate ease.

9min: Goal. Bayern. Lewandowski makes no mistakes from the spot. Caballero goes the right way, but it was unsaveable. 1-0, Bayern.

7min: Tammy holds the ball up well and brings Kanté into play. He spreads wide to Hudson-Odio, but his pass on to James is poor and Bayern can intercept. At the other end, Chelsea are caught flat at the back and Lewandowski’s played through. Caballero comes out and doesn’t get the ball. Foul. Penalty. Linesman flags for offside, but VAR overturns it and gives the penalty. Yellow to Caballero. Emerson was playing everyone onside.

5min: Emerson at it again, defending well against Gnabry and clearing for a throw. Davies had put it in a great cross from the left just before, but Lewandowski was on his heels for once.

4min: Christensen covers a through ball from Thiago, then Emerson shepherds a ball out of play on the left. Bayern probing, Chelsea holding.

2min: Lewandowski trying to get Gnabry into the action early, Emerson’s alive to the danger, clearing first for a throw, then a corner. Zouma clears Kimmich’s corner; Alaba goes for a 35-yard shot, well wide.

1min: An early offside for Lewandowski, but Chelsea pass the ball out of bounds.

KICK-OFF: Ahh, the anthem. Could be the highlight of our day. Chelsea get the game underway.

Chelsea come into today’s Champions League Round of 16 second leg with a 3-0 deficit from the first leg (which was played 5.5 months ago), and overturning that would be a bigger miracle than the one we experienced here in this exact same stadium against this exact same opposition on May 19, 2012.

So what I’m saying is that there is a chance. A very teeny tiny chance. But that’s why they play the game.

Adding to all the injuries and suspensions, Ruben Loftus-Cheek is unable to go today yet again.

Here we go.
