1. CHRISTIAN PULISIC (8.4)

Pulisic extends his own record of consecutive Man of the Match awards, reaching six in a row and making him the undisputed attacking star of Project Restart. May this form carry on for the rest of the season and beyond!

It’s worth noting that the 21-year-old has now doubled his previous career-high tally for league goals (8 vs. 4) and compares favorable in several statistics to a certain Eden Hazard, with whom he’s drawing plenty of premature comparisons.

These numbers are from before this game, but the gist of it is the same:

2. WILLIAN (8.0)

If this were American sports, we’d contend that Willian’s “playing for a new contract”, and that he’s absolutely killing. Sign him up!

With the two assists in this one, the 31-year-old is now just one shy of reaching double digits in assists in all competitions for the third season running.

3. KURT ZOUMA (7.8)

Zouma obviously gets a ton of credit for his jaw-drapping sliding tackle at the death, and rightly so, but one could argue that if Chelsea had just played better defense — including Zouma — we would’ve not needed such last-minute heroics.

And speaking of last-minute heroics, this seems like a good place to drop this great angle of Kepa’s save just prior of Zouma’s tackle. This was hard to see in real time, which probably affected his ratings.
