Two Chelsea players have a very good chance of winning the first ever July edition of the Premier League Player of the Month contest. Christian Pulisic and Olivier Giroud have been outstanding since football returned following a 100-day stoppage due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and they were both nominated for the award.
You can vote here.
Pulisic has 2 goals and 4 assists in 7 July league games, while Olivier Giroud has 5 goals in that same span, scoring in all five of his starts, including a first-half stoppage time goal in four straight.

Other nominees include West Ham’s Michail Antonio, Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling, Manchester United’s Anthony Martial, Spurs’ Harry Kane, and Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.
No Chelsea players were nominated for Goal of the Month, and, in a rather shocking development, Frank Lampard was not nominated for Manager of the Month, even though only two teams, the two Manchesters, collected more points than Chelsea’s 18.
