When it comes to social media engagement, few do it as well as the Bundesliga, and, specifically, RB Leipzig. Keeping things lighthearted, but also serious when necessary, the Twitter accounts of German teams operate in multiple languages and frequently make (online) headlines, and Red Bulls often lead the way. (Which isn’t really all that surprising since the entire Red Bull brand is built on social media and influencer engagement.)
The latest and greatest example is RB Leipzig poking fun at Tottenham Hotspur, reminding us that Werner has already scored against Spurs at their new stadium, when Leipzig waltzed in earlier this season and put Mourinho’s Spurs to the sword. It’s like we’re already BFFs!
We're sure Timo will fit in well at the Bridge, he already knows how to score against Spurs

Let’s indeed hope that Werner will make it a habit to score against Spurs!
(In fairness, RB were also able to poke fun at themselves after their prediction of Werner not going anywhere went spectacularly awry.)
It's been a journey, @ChelseaFC-Fans.

Thanks for always being good sports!
We know, Timo will be in good hands
Take good care of him!#Werner https://t.co/lFvFeYJ2ZO
In related news, Werner has been nominated for Bundesliga Player of the Season. You can vote here, if you’d like. Considering that he’s on the level of Lionel Messi when it comes to total goal contributions this year, he’d be a deserved winner even while being nominated against the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Jadon Sancho, and (future Chelsea teammate?) Kai Havertz.
34 - New @ChelseaFC signing Timo Werner has been directly involved in 34 league goals this season (26 goals and 8 assists) - in Europe's top five leagues, only Messi (35) tops this total. Exciting. pic.twitter.com/UKHu6SN0Bn
