Callum Hudson-Odoi was arrested Sunday morning after police and ambulance were called to his house, the latter taking an “unwell woman” to hospital and the former taking Hudson-Odoi in for questioning. The woman reported to emergency services that she was raped.
The Chelsea winger was kept in custody all day Sunday and questioned, while police returned to his home conduct an investigation. The 19-year-old was released on bail this morning and is due back next month, as per a Police spokesperson.
“When emergency services attended, a woman reported that she was raped. She was taken to hospital. A man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of rape. He was released from custody and bailed to return on a date in mid-June.”

Chelsea are apparently seeking a “detailed explanation” from Hudson-Odoi before publicly commenting on the matter, but this is not good, to say the least.
