Callum Hudson-Odoi has missed over a month with a hamstring injury, but looks no closer to returning than when it was hoped that he’d be back after the winter break.
In fact, if reports late last night are to be believed, he’s actually re-aggravated the injury and thus probably will be out for a bit longer.
Had it confirmed that Hudson-Odoi aggravated his injured hamstring today. Not yet clear how bad it is, but clearly not what he, Lampard or Chelsea needed with the defining stretch of the season coming up #CFC

While the reports don’t say exactly how bad the setback is, it’s not a good thing any way you look at it. Hudson-Odoi has had more than his fair share of injuries, and has been restricted to just a few healthy months this season — and very much restricted from finding his feet again after the major Achilles injury last season.
Hudson-Odoi hasn’t played since February 1st; Pulisic hasn’t played since January 1st; and yet Chelsea remain fourth and are into the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.
But injuries are mounting at an increasingly alarming pace (again). Willian and Mateo Kovačić were forced off on Tuesday with suspected Achilles problems to join Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic, Tammy Abraham, N’Golo Kanté, and Andreas Christensen on the sidelines, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek still just coming back to fitness.
Chelsea have massive games coming up in the league and in the FA Cup and it’ll be a minor miracle if we can come out unscathed on the other side.
