UPDATE: The Mail got this wrong and it’s PAUL Nevin, not PAT Nevin.
That’s hilarious and annoying at the same time.
Carry on.
Thanks for the kind messages about my new role at WHU with Moysie. It’s a shame no one told me though. Good luck to ‘Paul’ Nevin in his new job and to David saving the Hammers from the drop. Feel sorry for whoever made the error. It’s just a little mistake, give him/her a break!

PREVIOUSLY:
West Ham United are using their winter break to figure out a way to stave off relegation. They’ve already brought back David Moyes, who helped them do just that two years ago, though results haven’t really improved since and the Hammers now find themselves a point from safety in 18th.
Last month, they also brought in a new goalkeeper, Darren Randolph, also for a second stint at the club, a new midfielder in Czech international Tomáš Souček, and signed the Championship’s third-leading goalscorer, Jarrod Bowen — all useful additions.
Now they’re looking to improve the backroom staff as well, adding former club captain Kevin Nolan (who retired from playing two years ago) and former Chelsea star Pat Nevin as coaches. They’re set to officially start tomorrow (Thursday).
Nevin, a long-time friend of fellow Glaswegian and Celtic-man Moyes (their paths didn’t crossed at Everton, incidentally), had been a frequent voice on Chelsea TV as well in recent years, while his punditry for the BBC and others was always worth a read or listen. He will undoubtedly be a great asset to Moyes, now in an official capacity not just a friendly advisory role. though things aren’t going to be too easy. Their first match back from break will be against Manchester City!
In any case, good luck, Pat!
Pat Nevin was not like many footballers and is not like many broadcasters. We need more like him, frankly. Interview from @MailSport https://t.co/R8RmK0YN3a
