There are a few things ailing Chelsea at the moment, some of which probably don’t have quick or easy solutions, but we would surely all feel much better with a nice juicy win on Monday when West Ham United trek across town to the Bridge. This rivalry seems to mean a lot more to Hammers fans than Chelsea fans, but that would just make victory taste that much sweeter.
Unfortunately for former West Ham man Frank Lampard, he still won’t be able to call on either Hakim Ziyech or Callum Hudson-Odoi, though everyone else should be available and fit, especially after a fairly lengthy six days have passed since the defeat at Wolverhampton. Hopefully that includes Christian Pulisic, who made it through 90 minutes on Tuesday for just the second time all season.
Lampard — and the community as well — have stuck by the 4-3-3 even as the quality of the performances has dropped. Will that continue?
