How should Chelsea line up against Everton at ominous Goodison Park?

Everton vs. Chelsea, Premier League: You choose the starting lineup

Chelsea are off to Goodison Park for some Saturday Night Football, taking a 17-match unbeaten run to a place where we’ve lost four of the last six visits, including each of the last two seasons. Not exactly happy hunting grounds for us.

That said, if Chelsea are to seriously challenge for the title this season rather than just be another top-four contender, these are the sorts of tests we must pass.

Frank Lampard was able to rotate almost his entire squad for the midweek fitness exercise against Krasnodar, which should mean a fairly rested and probably quite familiar starting XI this weekend. That said, we will be without Hakim Ziyech and Callum Hudson-Odoi, both nursing hamstring injuries, and while Christian Pulisic is supposed to be fit, his hamstrings may be more string than ham. And not a very strong or thick string.

Assuming it holds up, Pulisic would be our only fit and available actual winger, which isn’t great.

Choose wisely.
