Drama incoming

What’s Eden Hazard’s favorite berry? Shrewsbury of course, as he told us back in 2014.

Chelsea could be facing Strawberry Town in the 5th round of the FA Cup this time, after they were drawn against us in tonight’s FA Cup ball twirling. But first, The Shrews face a 4th round replay against mighty Liverpool after completing an unlikely 2-2 comeback over the weekend.

You might think this would be a cakewalk for Liverpool, but because the replay is set for their “winter break” weekend, Jurgen Klopp may effectively boycott the whole thing and send the youth and reserves instead (including coaches). So that could get interesting, both on and especially off the pitch. Klopp vs. Premier League vs. FA. Stay tuned!

“I said to the boys already two weeks ago that we will have a winter break, which means we will not be there. You cannot deal with us like nobody cares about it. I know that it’s not very popular but that’s the way I see it.

”The Premier League asked us to respect the winter break. That’s what we do. If the FA doesn’t respect that, then we cannot change it. We will not be there.”

So, until then, here’s the 2019-20 FA Cup 5th round draw in full. The matches will be played midweek, March 3-5.
