WATCH: Callum Hudson-Odoi’s road to recovery; plus Chelsea FIFA 20 quiz

#content

Couple videos here to start your weekend right, both featuring a certain Callum Hudson-Odoi, who’s now surely just days away from making his first-team return.

First, at the top, is a video produced by Beats by Dre, where the youngster talks a bit about his recovery process, both the physical and the mental, with brief glimpses of the sorts of exercises he’d gone through over the past four months, plus a couple soundbites from Frank Lampard, Jody Morris, and his brother Bradley Hudson-Odoi as well.

As someone who’s still just at the start of a long rehab process myself (11 weeks post-ACL surgery), many of the issues touched on are already familiar, and it’s great to see the confidence of the young man as he’s emerging on the other side. (Interestingly, for a promo piece by Beats, it noticeable lacks any music!)

Then, on a lighter note, we have Callum sit down with Soccer AM at the FIFA 20 launch event earlier this week, talking, of course, FIFA ratings, which EA Sports have now convinced everyone that they matter on some level. It’s all in good fun of course, and it’s amusing to see Hudson-Odoi absolutely rinse Jorginho on strength and pace, for example.
