The ongoing saga of Callum Hudson-Odoi has reached the point of an impending contract signature for about the 37th time. Maybe this time it’s for real for real?
As reported by Nizaar Kinsella of Goal, Chelsea “expect” the 18-year-old to sign the new contract “in the next week or so”. It’s the “or so” that’s the part that has been or-so-ing for about the last two months, but maybe it’s time for the or-sos to finally or-so their or-sos away. Or so-mething. Next 48 hours, right?!
If proven true, the new contract announcement should coincide with Hudson-Odoi’s return to action after recovering from the Achilles injury he suffered back in the spring. The great wing hope is expected to feature for the U23 side in Friday’s PL2 match against Brighton & Hove Albion at Stamford Bridge, and then hopefully quickly work his up to full match fitness. We’re going to need him (and all the other currently injured players) as we enter the meaty part of the schedule!
- Victor Moses looks highly unlikely to stay at Fenerbahce at the end of his loan.

- Callum Hudson-Odoi talks could be concluded next week, ahead of a first team return. He is on course for U23 return on Friday but nothing communicated yet: https://t.co/S9UmNpZaY7 #CFC
