Izzy Brown was reported as close to sealing a loan move to Stoke City this deadline day but as it so happens, things do not go according to plan as the transfer window’s SLAMMING shut looms large.
He’s now signed for newly-promoted Championship side, Luton Town, on loan for the season.

Luton were incidentally managed by Stoke’s current manager, Nathan Jones, during the first half of their promotion campaign. Now, Graeme Jones has taken the reins at Kenilworth Road and the Hatters put up an impressive showing against Middlesbrough, enthralling an international television audience in the first fixture of the 2019/20 Championship season.
As far as Brown is concerned, it’s closing in on two years since he tragically tore his ACL while playing for Brighton in the Premier League. A setback-filled spell at Leeds United last season saw him make a solitary appearance and what he needs more than ever now, is minutes on the pitch.
Good luck, Izzy!
