Chelsea confirm 2019-20 shirt numbers

After the Chelsea Megastore spoiled things last night, Chelsea have this morning confirmed all the shirt numbers for the upcoming season, including for those players who were not listed by the Megastore.

That doesn’t guarantee that all these players will stick around with the team for the season itself of course — we have more non-homegrown players than we can register! — but for now, the likes of Kurt Zouma (No.15), Kenedy (No.16) and Tiémoué Bakayoko (No.14) all have assigned numbers.

Meanwhile, Reece James has taken up the No.24 shirt that Christian Pulisic had been sporting in preseason. Pulisic himself takes Willian’s old No.22, who in turn takes Hazard’s old No.10. The only other change from last season is Andreas Christensen switching from No.27 to No.4.
