Chelsea many, many weeks on the road, Chelsea return home to the friendly confines of Stamford Bridge to take on mid-table climbers Leicester City, who have aspirations of a top six finish. On paper, it’s an easier game than either of the last two, but such considerations go into the shredder as soon as the whistle blows for kick-off.
Fortunately, Chelsea do have two additional players “in contention” after the grueling extra-time and penalty shootout in the Super Cup. Both Antonio Rüdiger and Willian are still coming up to match fitness, but it sounds like the latter might be getting very close indeed.

Lampard will have to make a few interesting decisions, given that many players have played both Sunday and Wednesday, and the likes of Pedro, Jorginho, Zouma, Azpilicueta, Emerson, and N’Golo Kanté having all completed the full 120 minutes midweek.
