According to the Daily Mail, Chelsea are hoping to have Callum Hudson-Odoi back in full training by the start of August, after the youngster got the green light from his surgeon Ramon Cugat to step up and accelerate his recovery efforts. Hudson-Odoi had traveled to Barcelona for his latest check-up and to consult with the renowned surgeon.
The Achilles is now “fully healed”, apparently.

While Hudson-Odoi will need some time to get back to full match fitness, his recovery timeline is still much better than it had been initially feared after he suffered the injury at the end of April.
He is still expected to miss our pre-season matches, likely being left behind to train at Cobham during Chelsea’s trips to Japan and various European destinations. And he’s still likely to miss the first few games of the season. But he should be back by mid-September at the latest, after the first international break (as reported previously), and that’s fantastic news.
Now, how about signing that contract?
