With the new season slowly approaching and Frank Lampard (hopefully) soon announced, it’s time for the annual WAGNH Writers Premier League Predictions
While we still have over a month until the start of the season, Chelsea’s situation is a lot clearer than usual in many ways. The transfer ban has practically locked the squad in place and the fixture list is already out as well.

Liverpool and Manchester City are unsurprisingly the consensus favorites, with Chelsea expected to finish just or just out of the top four (except in André’s worst universe).
A name that popped up in almost every prediction was Christian Pulisic; we all seem to have very high hopes for him. Mohamed Salah is the majority’s favorite for the golden boot (unless we live in yatcli’s best universe).
And we all seem to have high hopes for the youth as Hudson-Odoi, Mount, and James all take turns in the “breakout star at Chelsea” category. Whether or not this really ends up happening is a different story entirely, but it feels refreshing to have genuine and justified hope in that regard.
Last year’s edition unanimously predicted Chelsea finishing in the top four. Not quite as much confidence this year, it would appear.
Agree?
