Luis Alberto back to Sevilla?

According to reports from the Corriere Sello Sport, Sevilla have presented an offer of €30m to Lazio for the services of Luis Alberto. The Biancocelesti have asked for time to evaluate the offer, while also focusing on the renewal of the player, should they decided to reject the offer from the Spanish side.

Praet after Tielemans

Leicester City have reportedly offered to double Dennis Praet’s wages in order to beat AC Milan to the midfielder’s signing. Italian outlet Il Secolo XIX say Sampdoria are ready to sell the Belgium international, who was left out of a training game on Monday.

Leicester City are in talks to sell Papy Mendy to French side Saint-Etienne, according to reports. The 27-year-old was last week touted as a possible target of the Ligue 1 side, but now L’Equipe say the clubs are in negotiations over a deal.

Arsenal have not yet come close to Palace’s £80m valuation and they have tried to include a loan for teenage attacker Reiss Nelson in the deal. Their opening offer of £40m was knocked back by Palace, who feel in a strong position with Zaha contracted to the south London club until 2023. The 26-year-old has made no secret of wanting to leave Selhurst Park to play at a higher level. Arsenal have not yet had competition from other clubs for Zaha.

Correa to Milan

Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa is close to joining Milan in a €50m deal this summer, according to reports in the Spanish press. Marca say that a deal looks set to go through despite the Argentine joining Los Rojiblancos on their pre-season tour of the United States.

Genoa are close to signing Real Madrid midfielder Lucas Silva on a permanent basis, claim Sky Sport Italia. The 26-year-old Brazilian is only under contract until June 2020 and has no room in Zinedine Zidane’s squad.

Delayed start

Ismael Bennacer has all-but-completed his transfer to Milan but is not expected to start work with his new club until August 10. Bennacer has spent the day at Milan’s offices finishing his medical and signing his contract after agreeing to a €16m move from Empoli. However, Radio Rossonera reports the midfielder will be given an extended break by the Diavolo after recently helping Algeria win the Africa Cup of Nations.

Benfica have reportedly switched their attentions to Roma goalkeeper Robin Olsen after passing up Juventus’ Mattia Perin. Benfica are no longer expected to sign Perin after giving a different assessment of his shoulder injury. With that in mind, A Bola writes they are now targeting Olsen.
