César Azpilicueta! Ruben Loftus-Cheek! Joe Cole! Chopper Harris! Claire Rafferty! Justin Rose! Phil Daniels! And many more.
And of course Omid Djalili, who provides the voiceover for Chelsea’s swaggerific, star-studded 2019-20 away kit launch video. I know swaggerific isn’t a word, but with Chelsea going mod with the shirt, and with a launch video that oozes style and swagger to match, it feels appropriate.
This behind-the-scenes look expands the scenes that play out in the launch video, as we get a peek inside the filming process and a glimpse into what it takes to film such an endeavor.
The new Chelsea away kit is mostly white, with a polo collar (meant to be buttoned up all the way, if you want to stay true to its mod heritage) and a blue and red trim on the sleeves and collar. It’s classic and simple and timeless. Just wish it came in a regular polo as well, not just a football shirt. Maybe later.
If you haven’t seen the launch video, or just want to see it again, here it is.
