Inter Milan are likely to have to cough up around £90 million to stand any chance of signing Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United this summer. Despite Piero Ausilio, the Inter sporting director, meeting with United officials in London on Friday, the Italian club have still to make a formal offer for Lukaku.

Agreement reached

Milan have seemingly reached an agreement for a five-year contract with Empoli and Algeria midfielder Ismael Bennacer. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, negotiations reached a positive conclusion during this afternoon’s conversation between director Paolo Maldini and agent Moussa Sissoko.

After an experience in Serie A, Gerson is returning to Brazil. The midfielder born in ‘97 will in fact join Flamengo, the Brazilian club reached an agreement with Roma on the basis of €10 million between the transfer fee and a percentage on the future resale.

Manchester United have been left stunned after being quoted £50 million for Sean Longstaff by Newcastle United. Longstaff has surprisingly emerged as a leading midfield target for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer but, despite having only made nine Premier League appearances for Newcastle, the Tyneside club have slapped a huge price tag on the 21 year-old’s head.

Bennacer to Milan

Milan are on the hunt for a central midfielder and have turned their attention to Empoli’s Bennacer: for two days the deal was stuck, but now it appears able to proceed definitively. Bennacer and his agents have come to an agreement on an issue related to his earnings. The midfielder has accepted Milan’s terms, and Friday evening could be when the deal is fully completed.

Mancini if not Toby

Roma are working to reinforce their defense unit: they’re in fact getting close to an agreement with Atalanta for Mancini, on a loan with obligation to buy basis. The deal could be closed in 24 to 48 hours for €20m in total. The Giallorossi are, in the meantime, also working on Tottenham’s Alderweireld, but they have no agreement with the player on his wages for the moment.
