Diaz on loan

New Espanyol boss David Gallego is considering loan moves for Brahim Diaz and Pablo Maffeo, according to Spanish radio station Cadena COPE. Gallego was promoted from reserve team boss at the start of June, of the departure of Rubi to Real Betis, and he has already identified targets for their La Liga and Europa League campaigns in 2019-20.

Prem battle

Premier League rivals Arsenal and Everton are set to battle it out for Getafe defender Djene Dakonam this summer. According to reports in Marca this weekend, Marco Silva’s side are set to enter the race to sign the Togolese international, who has been a long term target for the Gunners.

Moussa Djenepo has passed his medical with Southampton and joined up with the Mali squad for the Africa Cup of Nations. The 20-year-old winger is expected to be confirmed as a Saints player next week, pending a work permit.

Andre Silva price tag set

AC Milan have valued striker Andre Silva at €25 million (£22m/$28m), according to Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com). The Portuguese international has been linked with a potential move to Wolves this summer and has struggled to fit in at the San Siro, spending last season on loan at Sevilla where he scored nine goals in 27 appearances. The 23-year-old joined Milan in 2017 and has found the net 10 times in 40 appearances, with just two goals coming in Serie A.

Double deal for the Hammers

West Ham are following Celta Vigo with attention as they’re working to bring Stanislav Lobotka and Maxi Gomez to London. First one is a Slovak midfielder, the second one is a born in 96’ forward who’s scored 13 goals in 35 games last season.
