This is a few days overdue, but better late than never.
The full WAGNH Player of the Season rundown is coming shortly as well.
1. EDEN HAZARD (9.7)
Minutes: 87
Touches: 80
Passes: 39*/45
Shots: 3**/3
Take-ons: 5/10
Fouls drawn: 3
Tackles: 3
Eden Hazard’s best statistical season ended with two more goals, one more assist, and yet another Man of the Match award.
We’re going to miss this little wizard.
2. OLIVIER GIROUD (9.1)
Minutes: 90
Touches: 38
Passes: 19*/23
Shots: 2*/3
Fouls drawn: 2
Tackles+Blocks: 2+1
Aerial duels: 3
Speaking of statistics, Giroud notched his 11th goal of the Europa League to get Chelsea on the board, which not only makes him the competition’s leading goalscorer (one ahead of the highly coveted Luka Jović), but was the most in Europe by any Premier League player in 15 years. Take a bow, Olivier Shear-roud. (Next step: do the same in the Champions League next season!)
11 - Olivier Giroud is the first player to score 11 goals in major European competition for an English club since Alan Shearer scored 11 in 2004-05 for Newcastle United. Lead. #UELfinal #CHEARS pic.twitter.com/S4587zwXYH

3. PEDRO (8.5)
Minutes: 69
Touches: 29
Passes: 16/20
Shots: 1*/2
Take-ons: 2/3
Tackles+Blocks: 1+1
Another trophy for the trophy-hog. One of my favorite stories, which I probably mention far too often, is that Pedro was regarded at Barcelona’s “lucky charm” even when playing with the likes of Messi and Iniesta and the like. And so he’s now our lucky charm. The goal was his fifth of the competition, which matches his best ever European campaign (2010-11 Champions League). But even more impressively than all that, the win means that Pedro still has yet to lose a game for Chelsea when he’s scored: 41 goals across 37 games: 35 wins, 2 draws.
