WATCH: Eden Hazard joins Chelsea FC Foundation Academy training session in Greece

Once a Blue, always a Blue

Eden Hazard may be a Real Madrid player now, but his heart remains Blue. He said so himself before his club-record move that made him a Galáctico. We are part of his “family”.

And now he’s proven it in action, too!

Earlier this week, Hazard stopped by and joined in with the kids at the Chelsea Foundation’s Football Academy at the Sani Resort in Northern Greece, right on the Aegean Sea. Pictures had emerged a couple days ago, but now we have video as well, thanks to the resort’s official social media accounts.

The Chelsea FC Foundation established the academy at Sani just last year and it’s now in its second season of operation. It runs from April to October and provides an opportunity for the paying guests to have their boys and girls (aged 4-16) hone their skills under the tutelage of Chelsea Foundation coaches, or, as it turns out, a Chelsea legend. A portion of the proceeds (€42-95/day, depending on length) presumably go to benefit the Foundation.

Lovely to see Eden take time out of his well-earned vacation to not only engage with fans, but do so with the Chelsea Foundation.

What a guy!
