Sevilla have been quoted at €30m by Levante following an enquiry for midfielder Jose Campana, according to a report in Marca. A few months ago, the midfielder penned a new contract at the Valencia-based club until the summer of 2023 and he now has a release clause of €60m in his deal.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka will have a medical at Manchester United this week ahead of the completion of his £55 million ($70m) move from Crystal Palace. Goal can confirm the right-back is due to arrive at United’s Carrington training facility upon his return from international duty with England’s Under-21 side following their early exit from this summer’s European Championship tournament in Italy.

Saliba close

Arsenal look set to wrap up the signing of William Saliba from Saint-Etienne, but Tottenham have emerged as rivals for his signature. L’Equipe says the Premier League side have reached an agreement with the 18-year-old centre-back and now must arrange a deal with Saint-Etienne. But the French side want around €30 million (£27m/$34m) and if Arsenal cannot match that fee, Tottenham may be prepared to snap him up.

Roma are close to swapping Kostas Manolas for Napoli’s Amadou Diawara, while a Chinese club have offered Stephan El Shaarawy a €12m salary. According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, the exchange deal could be finalized by the end of this week.

Dani to Inter?

Inter are reportedly interested in signing former Juventus right-back Dani Alves, who is available on a free transfer. According to France Football, new Inter boss Antonio Conte has asked for Alves as he would fit flawlessly into his favored 3-5-2 formation.

Roma have reportedly made an official approach for Napoli right-back Elseid Hysaj, but they may have come in too late. According to Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla, the two clubs met today to discuss both the Kostas Manolas deal and the possibility of a move for the Albania international. However, Pedulla warns Atletico Madrid remain keen on the defender, amidst reports of a €20m fee being agreed with Napoli.

Milan met with Theo Hernandez today and it’s reported Real Madrid are prepared to loan him out for just the €2m salary. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Real Madrid are open to a dry loan – so without an option or obligation to buy – with Milan only having to cover his €2m salary.

Stephan El Shaarawy could leave Roma this summer, as it’s reported he is asking for a €3m net salary plus bonuses. His contract is due to expire in June 2020, so a sale is likely rather than to let it run down so he can leave as a free agent next year. According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Little Pharaoh is demanding a four-year deal worth €3m per season net, plus performance-related bonuses, which would bring it up to almost €4m.

Rui to Benfica

After Milan and Roma links, it looks as if Napoli full-back Mario Rui is heading back to Portugal for Benfica, possibly in an exchange with Alejandro Grimaldo. The 28-year-old was informed by Coach Carlo Ancelotti that he is not part of the plan going forward at the Stadio San Paolo. Il Roma paper claims Mario Rui is on the verge of a transfer to Benfica, where he already played in 2009-10.

Insigne to Atletico?

Napoli would be prepared to sell Lorenzo Insigne for €70m, it’s reported, with Atletico Madrid and Inter ready to start talks. The captain has a fractious rapport with some sections of the fanbase and has struggled in recent months since Carlo Ancelotti’s change of tactical system. According to both the Corriere dello Sport and Il Mattino newspapers today, Insigne would be on the market if someone met the €70m valuation.
