Tottenham are interested in a move for Real Betis midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, according to Football London. Mauricio Pochettino is reported to be willing to sanction a €60m bid to bring the Argentina international to North London, as his side look to bounce back from defeat in the Champions League final.

Fiorentina-owned goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski is at the centre of a bidding war between Bournemouth and Southampton. The Poland international impressed with a record-breaking six months on loan at Empoli, including 17 saves in a single game against Atalanta. Sportitalia had reported Southampton were in advanced negotiations for a deal worth €10m plus bonuses. However, the same source today claims Bournemouth have dived in with an improved proposal at €11m plus €4m in performance-related bonuses.

The MEN understands that the Atletico Madrid midfielder, Rodri, remains Pep Guardiola’s primary target but City are not thought to be pinning all of their hopes on landing the 22-year-old. Rodri, a Spain international, has a release clause of €70million at Atletico but City are hopeful of signing him for a lower fee. Should a move not materialize, it is understood that Tanguy Ndombele, of Lyon, and Marco Llorente, of Real Madrid, both feature in City’s plans.

Marco Giampaolo is on the verge of taking the Milan job and could try to bring in Joachim Andersen and Dennis Praet from Sampdoria.
