Rumor Mill: Bayern renew Pepe interest; PSG looking at Sarabia

EDF to Samp?

Sampdoria still are looking for their new coach since Marco Giampaolo is getting further and further away from Genova. The president Ferrero has had a meeting yesterday in Rome with Eusebio Di Francesco, the former Roma coach, who’s then talked with sporting director Osti (the two know each other from the time they both were at Lecce). Di Francesco has asked for technical and economic garanties: he’s asked for at least 2 years of contract, with a salary of €2m/year.

Serie B to Serie A

Sassuolo are close to bringing Spezia’s David Okereke to Emilia-Romagna. The 1997 born Nigerian striker was a stand-out star in this past campaign in the Serie B - he played in 30 matches scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists for the club. In addition, another one of Spezia’s stars may be on the way to the Serie A. This is 1994 born Italian left-back Tommaso Augello, who is has acquired interest from Sampdoria.

Following their return to Serie A after a six year absence, Lecce are ready to welcome their first new addition. The club is set to acquire Brayan Vera Ramirez, a Colombian wing back born in ‘99- he’s expected to arrive in Italy in the coming days to sign his contract and take his medical.

After a standout season, Mbappé is feeling undervalued at PSG and wants a move to Real Madrid, according to ABC. The France international, who scored 39 goals in 2018-19, does not feel properly valued in Paris, the report said.

De Tomas

Benfica are prepared to pay 20 million euros to Real Madrid to sign Raul de Tomas. The striker impressed last season during a loan spell at Rayo Vallecano, scoring 14 goals in LaLiga Santander. As far as MARCA understand, Real Madrid value De Tomas at 35 million euros and would reject any offer lower than that figure.

Liverpool have received approaches from Germany and Spain, as well as from the Premier League, for midfielder Marko Grujic. The Serbian international impressed during a season on loan with Hertha Berlin, and Goal understands the Bundesliga outfit are keen to extend that for a second campaign. Grujic would welcome the chance to remain in the German capital, but Hertha will face competition from both Eintracht Frankfurt and Werder Bremen, who have expressed an interest in signing the 23-year-old.

Parma are reportedly considering another bid to bring Juan Manuel Iturbe back to Italy, after failing to do so in the January window. With Paulo Fonseca set to become the new manager, Roma are working on building next season’s squad. The Giallorossi have joined the race for Jordan Veretout, the 26 year old is a profile appreciated by the club’s new manager and the contacts are on going to make him the first addition of the transfer window. In addition to Veretout, Roma are also interested in Florentino, a midfielder born in ‘99 currently at Benfica.
