Agreement reached

Simone Inzaghi will continue his journey at Lazio. In fact the manager and the Biancolesti reached an agreement on a one year extension to his current deal which expires in 2020. The agreement was reached in the last few hours and will be formalized in the next few days.

Diego to Napoli?

Napoli have reportedly contacted temperamental Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, as he is on the transfer list after receiving an eight-match ban in La Liga. According to Sean Pelucchi, the director of L’Oracolo Rossonero, the negotiation is already at an advanced stage between the parties and there is the willingness to close the deal.

Fiorentina goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski, who spent six months on loan at Empoli, is reportedly ready to join Southampton for €10m plus bonuses. According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, the deal is down to the details before it will be completed next week.

Juve’s plans

A player that could leave the club is Portuguese right-back Joao Cancelo, who wouldn’t be exactly the perfect fit for Sarri’s system. Should the former Inter defender leave the Bianconeri, the club has set their sights on Tottenham’s Kieran Trippier, who will play tonight in the Champions League final with the Spurs. There’s not only Cancelo on Juventus’s outgoings list, as also Mario Mandzukic could leave the club despite signing a contract extension through 2021 just a few months ago.

Icardi-Dybala still on

Despite being a complicated negotiation, the Icardi-Dybala swap deal between Inter and Juventus is still on the table, with the Nerazzurri’s CEO Marotta keen on making it happen. No agreement between the two clubs has been reached yet, but the negotiations are everything but still, as the parties are trying to find a way to set up a deal. In defense, the Nerazzurri are evaluating the opportunity to sign Aleksandar Kolarov from Roma.

Napoli’s plans

After acquiring Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Napoli are now focused on Spanish players to bolster Ancelotti’s attack. The Partenopei are interested in Valencia’s Rodrigo with president De Laurentiis interested in idea of including Amadou Diawara to lower the asking price. In addition, Napoli are also interested in Gerard Deulofeu, they have been in touch with his agent- they’ll have to decide if they want to proceed with the deal since he’s valued at €30 million. In addition, James Rodriguez is a much less likely replacement for Lorenzo Insigne should he depart his hometown club.

There have been new contacts made between Gennaro Gattuso and Lazio. The former Milan coach is the top choice for the club to replace Simone Inzaghi for the spot on the bench next season - up until now the current coach is not expected to reach a deal to continue on.
