Manchester City are not interested in signing Bruno Fernandes, according to club sources. The Sporting midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Blues this summer as Pep Guardiola looks to strengthen a squad that needs cover for Fernandinho and could see Ilkay Gundogan leave.

Manchester United are ready to rival neighbors Manchester City for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes, sources have told ESPN FC. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking for at least one new midfielder in the summer with Ander Herrera set to join Paris Saint-Germain when his contract at Old Trafford expires on June 30.

Olympiakos midfielder Mady Camara is interested in a move to Watford but is unlikely to make a decision over his future until after this summer’s Africa Cup of Nations. Camara has enjoyed a fine debut season in Greece after joining Olympiakos from French side AC Ajaccio for around £2million last summer.

Stephan El Shaarawy is the main star of the Giallorossi’s 2018/19 season. However, with a contract expiring this summer - in June of 2020 to be exact - it is becoming essential to find a deal with the player. The Blues want to turn the 25-year-old’s loan from Barcelona into a permanent switch and are considered favorites to sign him at this stage. But the ECHO has learnt Everton face competition to secure Gomes on a long-term deal. Spurs have been credited with showing interest in the Portuguese international but the midfielder also has admirers in Italy and Spain. Roma and Inter Milan are understood to be among those who are keeping tabs on Gomes.

Gabriel Jesus on the market?

Manchester City will advance to the hiring of John Felix, selling the Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus, in the off-season. Despite the interest in the player of Benfica, the money will not be problem for Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, owner of the English club. Reports in Argentina claim Juventus are very close to Newell’s Old Boys midfielder Enzo Barrenechea, compared to Rodrigo Bentancur. While many sources claim Max Allegri is leaving Juventus, there are mixed reports over whether Antonio Conte will replace him or join Inter instead. The story is spreading quickly that Allegri and President Andrea Agnelli decided today it was best to part company at the end of the season. However, while La Stampa, La Repubblica and Sport Mediaset are all confident Conte will return to the club he left in 2014, that is not certain. This is because Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and Radio Rossonera all maintain Conte is closer to Inter.
