Will he? Won’t he?
Yesterday’s game was supposedly the final home Premier League match at Stamford Bridge for quite a few Chelsea players, including both loanees (Gonzalo Higuaín and Mateo Kovačić), those on expiring contracts (Gary Cahill, David Luiz, Olivier Giroud, Willy Caballero, and yes, Rob Green, too), and of course Eden Hazard, whose official announcement at Real Madrid is reportedly “imminent”, just as it’s been for the last seven years.
I'm signing for the champion's league winner.

But out of all those names, only Gary Cahill got the star departure treatment, the “proper” send-off. Sure, as club captain and the longest serving member of the first-team, it’s the least he deserved, to be the man in the spotlight one final time. And sure, Hazard and the other non-goalkeepers still have possibly major roles to play this season in the Europa League, so the goodbyes can wait. But it’s hard not to read too much into it.
Especially when Eden Hazard, master Internet troll, goes and captions his Instagram post with three blue hearts. Three! Not one, not two, but three. Even time lords don’t have three hearts, let alone three blue hearts.
So what does it mean?
Probably nothing.
Probably the same old thing.
But a man can dream.
This was Marca a month ago.

Since then a deal hasn’t really come closer: still a considerable gap between what Real Madrid want to offer and what Chelsea have in mind.
Eden Hazard’s future is still in Marina Granovskaia’s hands and no comprimises as yet. #cfc pic.twitter.com/CzqaHcSevg
