1. RUBEN LOFTUS-CHEEK (8.2)
Minutes: 81
Touches: 72
Passes: 39*/45
Shots: 1/4
Take-ons: 9/11
Fouls drawn: 2
Not everyone could be bothered in this game (looking at you, Eden & Willy), but Loftus-Cheek was more than up for it, and he almost managed to more than make up for it, too — be sure to watch the individual highlights at the top. It was the youngster’s fifth start in our last eight games and his fifth Man of the Match for the season. Only Hazard (18) and Kepa (9) have more.
2. JORGINHO (7.2)
Minutes: 90
Touches: 82
Passes: 64/70
Take-ons: 2/3
Tackles+INTs+Blocks: 3+1+2
Jorginho got most of the post-match praise, which was a nice change of pace from the usual constant criticisms. The warrior head-bandage and his all-action performance probably helped.
3. N’GOLO KANTÉ (7.2)
Minutes: 90
Touches: 76
Passes: 48/58
Shots: 0/1
Fouls drawn: 2
Tackles+Blocks: 4+2
It wouldn’t be a top three without Kanté in it. That’s 31 podium finishes in 51 rated appearances, if you’re keeping count.
