Tottenham have missed the deadline to take up the option of extending Fernando Llorente’s contract, signaling the end of his career in north London. The option to renew Llorente’s deal by 12 months expired on Saturday - and unless there is an unexpected turnaround the striker will leave Spurs after the Champions League final in Madrid on June 1.

Napoli are focused on signing Josip Ilicic. The former Palermo striker has been decisive in Atalanta’s pursuit of a Champions League spot, he has scored twelve goals to go with seven assists and he’s now the top target to improve Carlo Ancelotti’s attack. Inter are ready to offer Ivan Perisic plus €20-30m in exchange for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, according to Italian reports. Their pursuit of Lukaku is no secret, especially with Antonio Conte agreeing terms to replace Coach Luciano Spalletti at San Siro next season. Napoli have reportedly rejected a new €110m Manchester United offer for Kalidou Koulibaly, as the defender is not for sale. La Gazzetta dello Sport now suggest that current manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer agrees with Jose Mourinho that Koulibaly would be the ideal reinforcement to their defence. However, the fee of €110m is considered too low and any club will have to wait until June 2020, when a €150m release clause will become valid.
