Change at Milan

Several sources claim Milan director Leonardo is among several figures who will be replaced this summer by CEO Ivan Gazidis. The Rossoneri are struggling to snatch fourth place from Atalanta, with reports in the Corriere dello Sport that they could even take a plea bargain with UEFA over Financial Fair Play violations, accepting a season out of continental competition if they only qualify for the Europa League. According to Sky Sport Italia and La Gazzetta dello Sport this afternoon, Leonardo’s future is nowhere near secure and he is increasingly likely to leave at the end of this term.

Sacrifice

Price for Wan-Bissaka

Crystal Palace have placed a remarkable £60million price tag on young defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka in an attempt to deter Manchester United from trying to sign him this summer. Palace, who fear losing Wilfried Zaha, are determined not to lose both of their star assets in the same window and their statement of intent has been relayed to Old Trafford who have long admired the 21-year-old right-back.

Next in line

Bournemouth are ready to follow up their capture of defender Lloyd Kelly with a move for £15m Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope. Landing a new goalkeeper is another of Howe’s summer priorities and he has been closely assessing England stoppers Pope and Stoke’s Jack Butland. Offering out-of-favor Asmir Begovic back to his former club Stoke as a makeweight was considered in a bid to try and bring the cost of a deal for Butland down. But Pope, 27, is likely to be the slightly cheaper of the two and Bournemouth are now set to firm up their interest with an opening offer.
