One more season on loan?
Andriy Lunin was a starter for Leganes on Sunday evening, several months after his last appearance in LaLiga Santander, and they are keen to keep hold of him for the 2019/20 season. The Ukrainian is well-liked at the club and they have been impressed by his work in training, while the player himself has also enjoyed the time he has spent there, leaving both parties keen to remain together beyond the summer. Leganes will have to receive Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid’s approval, though, as the goalkeeper could return to be second choice behind Thibaut Courtois at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

Butland mulling offers
Jack Butland is currently weighing up the probability of serious Premier League offers from Bournemouth and Crystal Palace. Sources close to the England goalkeeper believe it will be a toss up, as things stand, between these two clubs when Butland face D-day on his future. They haven’t given up hope of a top-six club declaring a firm interest, particularly if David de Gea leaves Manchester United, but there seems to have been little real encouragement on this front to date.
