Couple of Bundesliga rumors

Bids for Weah to be entertained

Paris Saint-Germain will listen to offers for Timothy Weah this summer, sources have told ESPN FC, but they will not necessarily actively look to sell him. The United States attacker, who spent the second half of this season on loan with Scottish giants Celtic, has headed back to PSG before he links up with the U.S. Under-20 World Cup squad after Bhoys’ boss Neil Lennon cut his temporary deal short.

Juventus trying hard

Juventus are reported to be offering €50m plus Riccardo Orsolini in a package deal for Fiorentina star Federico Chiesa. According to the newspaper Tuttosport, the Bianconeri have made the Italy international their number one transfer target, and sporting director Fabio Paratici is working hard on ways to reduce the €70m price tag.

Offered

Former Paris Saint-Germain and France boss Laurent Blanc has reportedly been offered to Roma. According to Corriere dello Sport, Blanc’s representatives were at the Olimpico on Sunday evening as part of a push to convince Roma into appointing the Frenchman.

Scouting

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Nicolo Zaniolo as it emerges they scouted the midfielder during Roma-Juventus. According to Gazzetta dello Sport’s Nicolo Schira, Tottenham sent a scout to watch Zaniolo help Roma beat Juve 2-0 at the Olimpico on Sunday evening.

No longer needed

Keylor Navas seems set to depart the Santiago Bernabeu this summer after being told by Real Madrid that he is not in their plans for the 2019/20 campaign. As such, they have encouraged him to seek out a new side, despite only having signed a contract extension in January, as they hope to achieve an amicable exit.

Griezzy boy incoming

Atletico Madrid are planning next season on the premise that star forward Antoine Griezmann will stay at the club, report Diario AS. The 28-year-old penned a long-term contract at Los Rojiblancos last summer after rejecting interest from Barcelona, who had pursued a deal.

Big changes

Too expensive

Barcelona and Real Madrid are tracking the potential of a summer move for Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek, claim El Mundo Deportivo. The 22-year-old Dutch international has scored 17 goals this season, including the only goal in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Tottenham.

Not Pogba

Pepe replacement

One more season on loan?

Andriy Lunin was a starter for Leganes on Sunday evening, several months after his last appearance in LaLiga Santander, and they are keen to keep hold of him for the 2019/20 season. The Ukrainian is well-liked at the club and they have been impressed by his work in training, while the player himself has also enjoyed the time he has spent there, leaving both parties keen to remain together beyond the summer. Leganes will have to receive Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid’s approval, though, as the goalkeeper could return to be second choice behind Thibaut Courtois at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.

On the list

Brandt

Brandt, 23, has a €25m release clause that undersells his market value by about 50 percent; the attacking midfielder is basically free to choose his next destination and thus in high-demand. Sources close to the decision-makers at Leverkusen see Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool as the most likely contenders.

Agreement

Nico Tagliafico recently broke his contract with Ajax open and made the appointment to stay next season anyway. At Rondo was Sunday evening revealed what agreements are attached. The Argentine remains at Ajax next season and could leave after that season for a minimum of 20 million road, the club decided.

Butland mulling offers

Jack Butland is currently weighing up the probability of serious Premier League offers from Bournemouth and Crystal Palace. Sources close to the England goalkeeper believe it will be a toss up, as things stand, between these two clubs when Butland face D-day on his future. They haven’t given up hope of a top-six club declaring a firm interest, particularly if David de Gea leaves Manchester United, but there seems to have been little real encouragement on this front to date.
