Eden Hazard has played his last Premier League game.
Certainly for this season.
Probably for good.
After the final whistle in Sunday’s 0-0 draw against Leicester City, he went over and applauded the visiting contingent at the King Power Stadium, blowing a few kisses and giving a double thumbs up to the crowd chanting his name to the tune of “No Limit”.
Have we reached the limit of Hazard’s time at Chelsea?

Here’s a reverse angle.
Just spoken to Maurizio Sarri, he said ‘Hazard has been a great player for Chelsea, it’s time to accept his decision’.

I asked what that decision is
‘I don’t know, I’m just the Head Coach’

In his post-match comments, Hazard revealed that he’s made his decision and informed the club about it a couple weeks ago. He’s now waiting, like all the rest of us, for the decision to be made public.
Presumably that means he’s leaving, which does keep the ball in Granovskaia’s court. Once a fee is agreed with Real Madrid, an official announcement presumably won’t be far behind.
Unless this has all been a big ruse, but that seems highly unlikely.

Just a mention that there’s no agreement between Chelsea and Real Madrid over Eden Hazard.
(Basically the talks haven’t much advanced since Marca prematurely announced that a deal was close 36 days ago).#cfc pic.twitter.com/dIFWsyn7mW
