1. MARCOS ALONSO (7.0)
Minutes: 90
Touches: 83
Passes: 36/44
Shots: 1*/2
Fouls drawn: 2
Tackles+INTs+Blocks: 4+3+2
Clearances: 6
Aerial duels: 3
Resurrecting his place in the starting lineup as well as the old joke about being the best goal-poacher on the team — while also racking up some pretty solid defensive numbers, for whatever those statistics are worth — Marcos Alonso does the unthinkable and wins the fan vote for Man of the Match! While it’s been quite clearly the worst season of Alonso’s three so far at the club, he’s far from done, one would have to believe. Armed with the long-term contract and now with someone to actually rotate with and not get run into the ground, the debates about Alonso’s qualities and claims on the Chelsea left back spot are sure to continue for the foreseeable future. Either way, it’s lovely to see Alonso not get denied by the post for once!
Time and time again, Marcos Alonso continues to show why he’s the the best offensive-minded defender in the league.

That’s now 32 goals and assists in two-plus seasons with Chelsea (19G, 13A). Incredible output.
2. KEPA ARRIZABALAGA (7.0)
Minutes: 90
Touches: 34
Passes: 14/22
Saves: 4
Steady as ever, in the showdown of the top two Spanish national team goalkeepers, Kepa came out well ahead of David De ButterfinGea.
3. N’GOLO KANTÉ (6.9)
Minutes: 90
Touches: 46
Passes: 29/34
Shots: 0/1
Tackles+INTs+Blocks: 3+2+3
What would a top three be without N’Golo Kanté? Eden Hazard may get voted our Player of the Year, but the one man who never takes a day off is N’Golo. This now the 30th podium finish for him this season.
