In attempt to get his career back on track after some major injury issues, the third of the Hazards, Kylian went out on loan to Cercle Brugge last summer. And he had been doing quite well back in Belgium, helping his team to some excellent results, including a 2-1 win over Jupiler League giants Anderlecht, before the team’s performances tailed off in the new year.
Unfortunately, Kylian’s season is ending on an ever worse note, and he will not be able to help the team in the bonus phase of the league, where teams seventh through fifteenth, plus a couple from the second division — it’s a very complicated setup! — fight for an Europa League spot.
Kylian will see the last month of the season back at Cobham, recovering from another injury, a muscle tear this time. A rather unfortunate and abrupt way to end his season.

Luckily for Kylian, he has another year to go on his Chelsea contract, like his older brother, Eden. Wonder which one will stick around longer?
