Leicester cautiously optimistic over Tielemans
The concern for Leicester is that Tielemans’ performances are of a standard to begin attracting clubs who can offer Champions League football. The agreement with Monaco does not include an option to buy, with Leicester deciding to wait and see after being quoted £40million in January.
Things are not rosy at West Yorkshire
Jan Siewert’s future as manager of Huddersfield Town is in doubt after their relegation from the Premier League due to the collapse of his relationship with the club’s senior players. The German, 36, who replaced David Wagner in January, is understood to have alienated many in the dressing room with a hardline approach since his appointment that has resulted in eight defeats and just one win since his appointment. Siewert was given a contract until June 2021 just ten weeks ago, but it is now unclear whether he will stay at Huddersfield for next season’s Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Jan Siewert, the Huddersfield manager, insists the club must accept a player exodus this summer after their relegation was confirmed. Defeat at Crystal Palace condemned the Terriers to their fate. Yet intriguingly, Siewert refused to commit his future to the club, claiming end-of-season discussions with the board will determine whether he decides to lead Huddersfield’s attempt to bounce straight back up.
