1. Pedro (8.4)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 71
Passes: 42/51
Shots: 5*/5
Take-ons: 2/5
Tackles+INTs: 1+1

Pedro’s good form continues with another Man of the Match performance for the second time in three appearances and in back-to-back starts. Pedro reflected after last week’s MoM performance against Spurs that this is the best he’s ever played for Chelsea and even though he missed a hatful of great chances in addition to his goal on Thursday, it’s fair to say that he probably knows what he’s talking about.

2. Callum Hudson-Odoi (8.1)

Minutes: 14
Touches: 12
Passes: 6/8
Shots: 1*/1
Take-ons: 1/1
Fouls drawn: 1

Callum Hudson-Odoi obviously wasn’t the second best player on Thursday, but he’s the second highest rated. Player ratings are as much sentiment as performance, and in sentiment, few come close to CHO these days.

3. David Luiz (7.9)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 96
Passes: 83/89
Shots: 0/1
Take-ons: 1/1
INTs+Clearances: 2+2

I had always hoped to see David Luiz wearing the captain’s armband as the teams walked out and The Liquidator echoed around Stamford Bridge, and on Thursday, that hope was fulfilled. And it was as glorious as I’d always hoped it would be. Given our incoming transfer ban, can we please sort out his new contract for next season already?
