Fulham 1-2 Chelsea, Player Ratings: Kepa goes from Man on the Bench to Man of the Match

Community player ratings as Chelsea win the West London Derby

KEPA ARRIZABALAGA (8.4)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 49
Passes: 30/36
Saves: 5

The perfect response from the man at the center of the storm. Fined, benched, lesson learned. Probably can thank Ryan Babel for falling asleep on the one error early, when the young goalkeeper made a mess of catching a simple cross. But once those nervy moments were over and he settled back in, he was excellent and twice denied Mitrović nearly certain goals.

2. N’GOLO KANTÉ (7.6)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 93
Passes: 68/74
Shots: 0/2
Tackles+Blocks: 10+2

One day, Kanté will not be a constant fixture in the top three. That will be a very sad day. Today is not that day. Rejoice!

3. JORGINHO (7.5)

Minutes: 90
Touches: 77
Passes: 65/72
Shots: 1*/1
Tackles+INTs: 3+1

Plenty has been said about Jorginho at this point, so there’s little use in rehashing it all. But if he keeps this up, he just might fulfill his stated goal of “proving his worth”.
