On a balmy night this past Tuesday, our newest signing (and possibly last for some time...) went down to the turf after roughly thirty minutes with an injury.
Today, Jeff Carlisle of ESPN reports that Christian Pulisic will be sidelined for 3-4 weeks.
Source with knowledge of the situation tells me that the initial prognosis on Christian Pulisic’s quad injury is that he’ll be sidelined for 3-4 weeks. #usmnt

This is yet another setback for Pulisic who has been in and out of the Dortmund first team this season. His latest injury will likely have him out for at least half of the remaining eight games on Dortmund’s schedule.
Pulisic’s record of injuries has grown markedly over the past year. Luckily nothing too serious, but the frequency of small injuries is becoming a concern. Multiple Borussia Dortmund players have been hit by various muscle injuries over the years. Perhaps a change of scenery will do Pulisic a lot of good, especially given Chelsea’s world class facilities and top tier medical, training, and strength & conditioning staff.
I’m sure Pulisic will be disappointed if his time in Germany ends like this. Here’s to a quick recovery!
This is beginning to become a serious problem for Pulisic. Nothing serious (yet) but a buildup of nagging muscular/ligament injuries is a bad omen #USMNT pic.twitter.com/pJuS8MWFVz
