John Terry may have left Stamford Bridge back in 2017, but the Chelsea legend still has a lot of love for his former club. As some players regularly do nowadays, the former skipper took the time for a short Q&A session with his followers yesterday and gave some truly magnificent answers to mostly standard questions.
If you have Instagram and haven’t seen John Terry’s latest story - I’d highly recommend watching! pic.twitter.com/AIVvFb3203

While replies such as his favourite coach and colour being José Mourinho and blue, respectively, were to be expected — but nonetheless lovely to see — one answer stood out especially. Social media wouldn’t be the same if some rival fan didn’t come along and tried to spoil the fun, and a Spurs supporter attempted to do exactly that. Writing “Tottenham Hotspur forever”, the user was quickly shut down by Terry in form of a simple but effective emoji usage, resorting to a trophy and a pair of longing eyes staring at it. That user certainly put the pressure on him!
However, the best reply definitely came in form of a story regarding the skipper’s choice of shirt number as the current Villa assistant coach explained that he decided to stick with his iconic #26 so that fans, who had already purchased a jersey with his name and number on the back, wouldn’t need to buy another. This kind of class behaviour illustrates exactly why Chelsea fans have adored Terry ever since he first set foot on the pitch at Stamford Bridge and will continue to do so indefinitely.

The Instagram Q&A session was overall very entertaining and, despite his “Insta story” having disappeared by now, you can still find all his answers on the various social media platforms.
Come home soon, John!
