CHELSEA INSUBORDINATION CRISIS 2019: Further undermining of manager as player re-arranges training cones

Under-fire Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri received another potentially mortal blow today as he was further undermined by his players in an open training session in front of a gathering of the nation's press.

After Sarri had laid out cones for a warm-up drill, Brazilian international Willian proceeded to move the cones a bit further back, to the astonishment of onlookers.

This blatant act of disregard for the manager's authority comes just one day after goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga refused to leave the field after Sarri had decided to substitute him.

Captain Cesar Azpilicueta has also come under fire for failing to put the cones back to their original position. There were no such problems with Sarri's faithful disciple Jorginho however, who was allowed to sit out some of the more intense physical sessions to play Super Mario Bros on his Nintendo Switch.

In a further rebuke to the manager, star player Eden Hazard was pictured wearing his training vest outside in with the label sticking out at the front, a sure sign that he has made up his mind to leave the sinking ship and move to Real Madrid.

It is expected that Sarri will be sacked on Thursday morning after being thrashed by rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night, or else face the humiliating prospect of each one of his players lining up to stab him in the front, uttering the phrase, 'For the Chels', in the Thursday afternoon session, before he is resurrected to take charge of Roma next season.
